John 11:9-11

⁹Jesus answered,

“Are there not twelve hours of daylight?
If someone walks in the daylight,
he does not stumble,
because he sees by the light of this world.
¹⁰But if he walks at night,
he stumbles,
because he does not have the light.”

¹¹After saying this, he went on to tell them, “Our friend Lazarus has fallen asleep, but I am going there to awaken him.”
